I am really happy for Amit Gupta. He is fighting leukemia and had problems finding a matching bone marrow donor. Luckily for him he has a lot of friends in the high tech community. Through an extensive social media campaign he has found a matching donor. As a positive side effect, the bone marrow registry now has a huge amount of potential donors for other people. Have you ever thought you were dying?
This is kind of funny. The other day I boiled some nice beets. I had them with some olive oil and pepper. What I had forgotten how strong the red coloring in beets is. It dyes all your body’s waste products a strong red. For the last two days I’ve been reacting with horror, as if it was blood. Then I realize that it’s beet red. Veggies are good for you!
